Introducing A.R.E.’s most sophisticated truck cap to date—the Z2 Series. This topper includes all the beloved features of the original Z Series with some stylistic and technological upgrades.

On the surface, the Z2 shares several features with A.R.E.’s other fiberglass toppers, including a low-filled resin fiberglass construction with a polyester resin laminate. However, it ditches traditional framed and frameless windows for sleek, solid glass panels employing urethane technology—the same process used to install automotive glass. Rather than utilizing aluminum frames, fasteners, and leak-prone seals, the Z2’s front and side windows bond to the fiberglass shell with a thick layer of automotive-grade urethane.

At the rear of the shell, a frameless rear window continues the Z2’s sleek styling. Hidden hardware makes for a smooth, streamlined appearance, while a precision-molded contour strip seals flawlessly against the tailgate. Operating the rear door is simple and intuitive with the Z2’s OneMotion™ rear handle and automotive-style slam-latch, offering smooth, one-handed opening and closing. Alternatively, A.R.E. offers an optional keyless entry system, enabling the rear lock to actuate with a press of the factory key fob.

A.R.E. finishes each Z2 Series Truck Cap in an automotive-grade paint-matched exterior finish, upgradeable to a UV-stable OTR textured exterior finish. Other notable features include a standard dark gray carpet headliner and a 12V LED dome light with an automatic ActiveTilt™ system.
